Singapore Sling

The Singapore Sling is a gin-based cocktail from Singapore. This long drink was developed sometime before 1915 by Ngiam Tong Boon, a Hainanese bartender working at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel, Singapore.

Singapore Sling
Mulled Wine


  • 1 oz gin
  • 1/4 oz cointreau
  • 1/2 oz heering cherry liqueur (cherry brandy)
  • 1/4 oz dom bénédictine
  • 4 oz (16 parts) pineapple juice
  • 1/3 oz (2 parts) grenadine
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice



Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into highball glass. Garnish with pineapple and cocktail cherry.
