Watermelon Blueberry Mojito

A mojito is a traditional Cuban highball. Traditionally, a mojito is a cocktail consisting of five ingredients: white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. A watermelon blueberry mojito contains watermelon, blueberries and no sugar.

The fruity-fresh watermelon blueberry mojito is the perfect “sundowner” and has a major advantage over the classic mojito. You don’t need to add any sugar as this cocktail is naturally sweet!

If you like mojitos and enjoy fruity drinks. You will love this version of a classic! Just make sure your watermelon is not past its prime. Check if the flesh is dark red and falls apart easily. If so, you may want to wait until you have a watermelon that is not overly ripe as those tend to taste almost a tad bit fermented (not in a good way). A fresh watermelon will make your mojito more flavorful and enjoyable.
