Our mission

We’re on a mission to use technology to create a more meaningful, connected bar experience.

As the old nursery rhyme goes:

Twinkle, twinkle little star. Point me to the nearest bar.

We’re doing something about that. BOTY will transform our bars and restaurants from disengaged places into hubs of connection, sincerity, and fun.

The first problem we’re solving on our way to fulfilling that mission is bar goers have a hard time meeting new people or interacting with others because of communication and social barriers. The other problem is there’s no platform that helps bar owners learn more about their customers and stay in direct communication with them.

The name BOTY is derived from the acronym Bartender of the Year, but it quickly evolved to something bigger and simply means better communication and engagement in places.

Leadership

What is a leader?:

A leader is someone who can see how things can be improved and who rallies people to move toward that better vision. Leaders can work toward making their vision a reality while putting people first. Just being able to motivate people isn’t enough — leaders need to be empathetic and connect with people to be successful.

Every company needs a good leader, and this starts with getting the most out of every member on the team. Our goal is to empower and inspire entrepreneurial leaders in every position. We encourage team members to present ideas and create concepts to help fulfill the mission.
